Doing it for the love of the audio

Being a Location Sound Mixer is a job you really have to love. Its a tough but rewarding way to make a living. I do it because I love a new challenge every day and I love doing a job that most people have no idea how to do or want to do. I also really just like working with something that you can’t see. Passion is what separates great people from good people. Anyone can learn how to turn a knob or push a button but a sound professional knows why you push that button and what to do if the button push doesn’t work. The hours are long and the days are strange but we all do it for the love of the audio.
