Last week I worked with the Sony F3 for the first time. It was a simple interview shoot with some B-roll at first production resisted wanted a double system recording but after informing me that they would also be shooting with a Canon 5D I definitely wanted to record ISO tracks and a back up. After reviewing the manual it was all very straight forward but anytime I work with a new camera the first time I always like to run a back up. The audio quality is similar to a EX 3 and better then a Z1u. I just wish it had a better headphone jack and more professional meters.
