Being a pack mule instead of a sound mixer

It is an odd statement to make but how I really feel sometimes. The past few days I was using my 5 channel package with 5 wireless plus a Zaxcom ENG hop. I go from being a sound mixer to a signal manager that is just trying to keep noise and out and just make it through the day. It isn’t my favorite type of sound work but just part of living the dream
